Monday Night Is Quiz Night

             At The Queens Head Watnall

A no entry fee quiz is held every Monday night at 9.30pm when alternating weekly question setters Steve or Barbara present a general knowledge quiz of twenty questions for a money prize of £20, However should the winning team score 38 or more points out of the possible 40 they can also collect the snowball which increases each week by £10, It has been as high as £280.

A bell will sound at periods throughout the quiz and pub goers will fill in the answer to a question and hostess's Laura will collect these and the first correct answer drawn will win a bottle of wine.

Half time is Raffle time when whilst sandwiches are handed round £1 tickets are sold for a draw at the end of the night and then the lucky winner then faces the question setter to hopefully win all the cash, which has been known to exceed £100.

There are NO TRICKS, just good all round general knowledge questions, making a very enjoyable and well attended night.
